(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, Oct 13 (KUNA) -- The number of new coronavirus infections in the Netherlands shot up to 43,903 in the week between 7 and 13 October.
The total coronavirus infections reached to 188,876, the Dutch Institute for public health and environment said in its weekly report today.
150 more deaths from coronavirus were reported in the same period raising the total death toll to 6,631.
Meanwhile, Dutch Prime minister Mark Rutte is expected to announce new measures tonight to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country. (end)
