New Zealand registers 12 new coronavirus infections


(MENAFN) New Zealand registered 12 new coronavirus infections on Thursday, October 1, all spotted in managed separation and imported from abroad.

All of the 12 imported infections have been moved to a devoted quarantine facility. There are no new infections in the community, according to the Ministry of Health.

Ten of these infections arrived from India on September 26 on flight AI 1354 and were diagnosed around day 3 of their time in managed isolation, stated a ministry report.
It added "We can report that cases were spread out throughout the plane on their flight to New Zealand, sitting between rows 14 and 41".
