(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- The funeral of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will be restricted to his relatives, the Amiri Diwan announced Tuesday.
Minister of Diwan Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah said the restriction of the funeral service was in line with health safety measures.
He said the Amiri Diwan appreciated sentiments of citizens and residents who were keen in offering their respect to His Highness the Amir.
The Amiri Diwan said earlier the body of His Highness the late Amir was due to arrive in Kuwait from the US tomorrow Wednesday. (pickup previous)
