Jordan- Institutional-quarantine suspended as of September 23 - says minister

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept. 17 (Petra)-- Transport Minister Khalid Saif, in a press conference at the Prime Ministry on Thursday, said that people who arrive to Jordan from red or yellow countries will no longer have to go through institutional-quarantine starting from September 23, but instead they are required to adhere to home-quarantine for a period of seven days.
He added that people who wish to enter Jordan, should register through the "VisitJordan" platform and conduct a PCR test before entering the country.
Every two weeks, the government updates the list of green, yellow and red countries eligible to travel to and from Jordan, Saif said.
The minister said that those who arrive from red countries and show a negative PCR test will have to wear a tracking bracelet and will be home-quarantined for seven days, while those who arrive from yellow countries will be sent to home-quarantine but without a tracking bracelet.
