Israel planes bomb Gaza after rocket attack on settlement


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, Aug 2 (KUNA) -- Israeli drones and fighter jets bombarded locations in Gaza Strip on Sunday but there were no reports of human casualties, the official Palestinian news agency said.
The drones fired at least two missiles at a position in the western city of Khan Yunus triggering fire, WAFA agency reported.
It said that then F-16 planes bombed the same position with two missiles. No one was hurt.
WAFA said a drone bombarded a farm land northeast of Khan Yunus, and a location in the southern Rafah city.
Israeli occupation army said earlier a rocket was fired from Gaza Strip against Jewish settlements but was intercepted by the Iron Dome system. No Palestinian group claimed responsibility for the rocket attack. (end)
