Lebanon: 21 new coronavirus infection cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, May 26 (KUNA) -- A total of 21 people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in latest medical tests in Lebanon raising total count of contamination cases to 1,140.
Lebanese Ministry of Health said in its daily report about the contagious disease, on Tuesday, no deaths were reported in past 24 hours, thus overall figure of fatalities resulting from the deadly germ stood at 26.
Recovery cases rose to 689 while total tests, conducted in past 24 hours, amounted to 819.
The government has decided to extend general mobilization until June 7, as part of precautionary measures against the pandemic. (end)
