Jordan- Local fuel prices tangibly down during April, says energy minister


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, March 31 (Petra) - The government's fuel pricing committee on Tuesday decided to lower the prices of fuel derivatives for April, announced the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Hala Zawati, at a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management on Tuesday.
In this regard, Zawati said, in view of the unprecedented decline in oil prices and its derivatives in global markets, adding this decrease has been reflected in all oil derivatives sold locally, which embodies the ministry's transparency approach, and includes the issuance of a weekly bulletin on oil price changes.
As for April's new oil prices locally, she announced gasoline (90) will drop to 625 fils per liter, down by 120 fils per liter, gasoline (95) to 840 fils per liter, down by 125 fils per liter, diesel and gas to 465 fils per liter, down by 90 fils per liter, and heavy fuel to JD227.6 per ton, a decrease of about JD66 per ton.
