Saudi- KSrelief Project Masam Dismantles 2,963 Mines in Yemen during first Week of March


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, March 10, 2020, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing mines (Masam) in Yemen demined 2,963 mines during the first week of March 2020, including 14 antipersonnel mines, 310 anti-tank, 2,637 unexploded ordnance, and two explosive devices.
Since the beginning of the project, 148,427 landmines have been dismantled after they had been planted by the Houthi militias, in Yemen, claiming lives, serious injuries or amputation of organs of children, women and the elderly.
