Panama hospital readied for suspected coronavirus cases


(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) While no cases of coronavirus have been reported in Panama The San Miguel Arcángel Hospital has a room equipped to handle suspected cases of the new strain.

Health authorities reported that until Monday, January 27, there have been no cases of the disease in Panama and they claim that every person entering  Panama from Asia is being monitored daily. Constant communication with the airlines has also been maintained to detect passengers with suspicious symptoms. Panama has reinforced security measures at all points of entry into the country above the protocols suggested by the World Health Organization (WHO)
