Bangladesh- AIBL unveils new logo, launches rebranding campaign


(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: Al-Arafah Islami bank Limited (AIBL) unveiled its new logo at the inaugural ceremony of the Bank's Rebranding Campaign held on January 26 at Hotel Purbani. At the event, the Bank also declared the year 2020 as its Silver Jubilee.
Alhaj Abdus Samad Labu, Chairman of the Bank unveiled the new logo as the Chief Guest while Farman R Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO presided over the ceremony.
'We have planned the new campaign in the light of a new era without hurting the values entrusted by the customers. We must be modern. The nature of our workplace has changed. Even without going to a branch, one can do any kind of banking nowadays. Digital Bangladesh is no longer a dream and AIBL is working hard for it,' said the Chairman.
'Islam means modernism and universalism; this is the message that we want to convey to everyone through our branding. We are working to make Islamic banking more attractive for future generations,' he added.
Forman R Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of AIBL further mentioned, 'Shariah based always' – with this slogan, today our new journey has been started by indoor and outdoor rebranding of the Bank's 182 branches and 169 ATM booths at a time. It is my belief that this rebranding campaign will improve the scope of banking activities, corporate governance and business ethics. The new logo along with the new tagline is aimed to mark the beginning of a new era of Shariah based modern Islamic banking.'
Alhajj Mohammad Abdus Salam, Vice Chairman and other high officials of the Bank were also present on the occasion.
