'I was in the auditorium when I heard gunshots and thoughts that it might be part of first-aid training. However, everything changed within minutes. Many of my friends received bullets in heads and chests. I was wearing a hood cap and a bullet pierced through the upper part of the cap, but I remained safe,' Hassan Tahir said while narrating his survival story.

However, Hassan Tahir elder brother Usama Tahir, could not save himself and was targeted by terrorists.

Hassan Tahir is now studying software engineering from a private university and even five years after the massacre, he is unable to come out from trauma. He believes that the trauma of the massacre will stay with him till he is alive.

Usama Tahir was a student of seventh grade when he was martyred in the APS attack.
