Snow storm results in over 100 road crashes in U.S.

127 vehicles have crashed on Tuesday on Interstate 90 highway in a snow storm that happened near Spokane city in Washington state of the U.S.

Jeff Sevigney, Washington Trooper, said that the vehicles were involved in 47 crashes that caused traffic for around 6.4 km on the expressway.

He said in a tweet that "The largest scene had 38 vehicles eastbound I90 near milepost 274. Thankful that nobody was seriously hurt," six people were transported to a hospital due to the accidents.

He said that there were no deaths in the crashes that took place after a storm resulted in heavy snowfall to Spokane area on Tuesday.
