Chinese local authorities said on Monday that Guangxi Zhuang region in China foreign trade has reached USD37.51 billion in the starting 7 months of the current year, adding 23.8 percent year on year, according to Xinhua.
The customs authorities of Nanning, the regional capital, said that the increase came as a 19.6 percentage points more than the national foreign trade growth in the same period.
In the period between January and july, Guangxi's trade with ASEAN went up 13 percent to reach USD18.23 billion, comprising 48.7 percent of the region's foreign trade.
Its trade with countries along the Belt and Road reached USD20 billion yuan during the same period, increasing 16.2 percent year on year.
