(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today assured the Tamils in the North that a political solution was not far away.
Speaking at an event in Jaffna today the Prime Minister said that several steps had been taken to ensure a political solution to the national issue.
However, he said the efforts had stalled as the Government did not have the majority it needed to complete the process.
The Prime Minister, however, assured that over the next two years a political solution will be given to the people.
