(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 3 (Petra) -- Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh underlined the "deep-rooted" Jordanian-Turkish relations which His Majesty King Abdullah and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan both put in place.
Shawarbeh made the comments during a meeting with the President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Sekib Avdagic and an accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the Amman Mayor voiced confidence in Turkish products, noting the economic and trade ties are "advanced" compared to other countries.
The delegation lauded the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM)'s executive plans to develop the service system in the public transport sector and enhance traffic in the capital.
