ROP affirmed in a statement online: "Police Command of Northern Al Batinah Governorate in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police Department and the Department of Anti-narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control stopped a smuggling boat with two people and a quantity of drugs on board, and legal proceedings are underway."
