Doha:Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas at the Amiri Diwan yesterday evening.
They discussed the situation in Palestine, where President of the State of Palestine briefed H H the Amir on the latest developments, and expressed sincere thanks to H H the Amir for Qatar's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and for its standing with the Palestinian people in facing the difficult circumstances and challenges.
The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the ministers, and members of the official delegation accompanying the Palestinian President. The Amir also hosted, at the Amiri Diwan, an iftar banquet in honour of Palestine President and the delegation accompanying him. The banquet was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the ministers.
