Moderate earthquake startles Nepal day before fatal 2015 quake


(MENAFN) An earthquake of a 5.2-magnitude has rattled Nepal on Wednesday, one day ahead of the fourth anniversary of the fatal 2015 earthquake.

National Emergency Operation Center under the Ministry of Home Affairs confirmed: "Earthquake of local magnitude 5.2 hit Dhading at 6:29 a.m. local time."

The early morning earthquake was followed by a second one of a 4.3 magnitude which hit the same district.

Authorities declared that not victims have been reported in the quake yet.
