Uzbekistan's foreign trade sees increase in Q1 of 2019


(MENAFN) Uzbekistan's foreign trade income was around USD9.4 billion and rose by 27 percent over the same duration of the past year, according to a report of the Uzbek figures committee published on Thursday.

The Central Asian nation's export increased to USD4.1 billion, and import reached USD5.2 billion, with a trade deficit of USD1.1 billion, the report stated.

The data showed that China became the first trade partner of Uzbekistan in the first three months of 2019, while Russia came the second and Kazakhstan the third.
