IsDB approves USD21.72b funds in 2018


(MENAFN) Saudi-based Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) penned 91 funding deals with member countries in Morocco's Marrakesh over the past year at a value of more than USD21.72 billion.

IsDB, ICD, and ITFC, members of the group, passed USD7 billion of financing agreements jointly last year, affirmed IsDB President Dr. Bandar Hajjar.

These activities are aiming to offer vital enablers for economic reforms launched in member countries while they look to attain Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Hajjar further added that ever since it was opened over four decades ago, IsDB funding for members reached more than USD138 billion.
