EU to commence water program in Egypt


(MENAFN) Egypt will be witnessing the commencement of a massive program that aims to strengthen the country's water sector.

EU4WATER program will be launched by the European Union (EU) as it seeks to support the Egyptian water sector and reach water security.

Under the program, EU ambassador to Egypt Ivan Surkos revealed, the EU will be providing grants valued at 120 million Euros.

Surkos further revealed the program agreement to be expected for signing by this summer and execution by this year's end.
