Saudi- Speaker of Shura Council to Head Council's Delegation at 14th Session of PUIC

Riyadh, March 09, 2019, SPA -- Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh will head the council's delegation at the 14th session of Parliamentary Union of Islamic Cooperation (PUIC) which will start its meetings in Rabat, Moroccan.
Dr. Al- Sheikh stressed in a press statement that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, has been keen to promote joint Islamic action in all fields and at all levels over the past 50 years to achieve OIC's objectives and to promote its tasks and activities, pointing out the importance of the Islamic parliamentary action in developing Islamic cooperation.
The 14th session of the PUIC will issue at the end of its action, the "Rabat Declaration", following the study of the agenda, which includes the draft resolutions submitted by the 9th meeting of the Standing Committee on Palestine, the Committee on Economic Affairs and the Environment, the Committee on Human Rights, Women and the Family, the Committee on Cultural and Legal Affairs and the Dialogue of Civilizations and Religions.
