Bahrain's Finance Minister receives UAE Ambassador

MANAMA, 1st March, 2019 (WAM) -- Bahrain's Minister of Finance and National Economy, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has extended his country's thanks and appreciation for the UAE's continuous support and honourable stances towards Bahrain in various domains which reflects the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples and their keenness on enhancing integration so as to open up new horizons of cooperation.

He also highlighted the country's notable development and progress which enables it to achieve prestigious development and economic stature.

While meeting with the Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Al Khalifa said that the relations between Bahrain and the UAE are strong and historic which mirrors the strength of these ties supported by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

They reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance bilateral relations.

Sheikh Sultan extended thanks to Bahrain's Minister of Finance and National Economy for the attention paid for cooperation between Bahrain and the UAE, especially in the financial and economic sectors.

Acting Under-Secretary for Financial Affairs at the Bahraini Ministry of Finance and National Economy, Yussef Abdulla Hamood, attended the meeting.
