Israeli naval forces open fire against fishermen off Khan Younis coast

(MENAFN) On Sunday, Israeli naval forces opened fire against Palestinian fishing ships, off the coast of Khan Younis, in the southern the besieged Gaza Strip.

Residents informed Ma'an that Israeli naval forces repeatedly opened heavy fire against a number of fishing boats, as they were working within the allowable fishing zone, forcing them to sail back to shore.

The gunshot caused no casualties.

The Israeli army frequently arrests and opens fire on unequipped Palestinian fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the border areas if they approach the unilaterally declared buffer zone.
