Macedonian presidential elections to be held on April 21


(MENAFN) Macedonian Speaker of Parliament has announced that the presidential elections in Macedonia is scheduled be held on April 21.

According to him, if a second round is required, the elections will be held on May 5.

The term of the current Macedonian President, Gjorge Ivanov, ends on May 12.

Meanwhile, the country's parties are intensifying the process for the nomination of their candidates in the presidential election.

SDSM said Zoran Zaev party will choose its candidate at a conference to be held on March 3.
