Beirut, Feb 2, 2019, SPA -- Lebanon's new cabinet held its first meeting on Saturday and formed a committee to draft a government policy
statement.
The 10-member committee, chaired by Premier Saad al-Hariri, will start meeting on Monday to prepare the statement ahead of a parliament confidence vote.
Lebanon has announced the formation of the new government on Thursday, after inconclusive elections in May gave way to nearly nine months of quarrelling between rival political groups.
