'Good News': Here's how Akshay and Kareena won #10YearChallenge
23 Jan 2019

Bollywood is taken over by the #10YearChallenge and celebrities are sharing pictures of their mind-boggling transformation.

Amid this, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who are collaborating for Good News, have emerged as the winner of the challenge (at least for us).

Wondering how?

Akshay shared a picture with Kareena from Good News sets and gave a twist to the #10YearChallenge.

Akshay, Kareena collaborate after 10 years
Reunion

Akshay and Kareena are collaborating for Good News after a decade. They were last seen in 2009 release Kambakkht Ishq.

Akshay announced the beginning of the shooting with the #10YearChallenge.

The Kesari actor shared a picture with Kareena juxtaposing scenes (with similar poses) from Kambakkht Ishq and Good News. He also mentioned that he is glad that nothing has changed between him and Kareena.

Akshay and Kareena make for a stunning pair
Jodi

Interestingly, Akshay and Kareena have also worked together in movies like Ajnabee, Aitraaz, Tashan and Bewafaa. In fact, Kareena also had an extended cameo in Akshay's Gabbar Is Back.

Undoubtedly, they make for a stunning pair who aged like fine wine both onscreen and off-screen.

Their chemistry always set the screens on fire. We wonder if they can recreate their magic in Good News.

Kareena to also reunite with Diljit after 'Udta Punjab'
Cast

Apart from Akshay and Kareena, Good News will also star Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in key roles. The movie will mark Diljit's second collaboration with Kareena after 2016 release Udta Punjab.

There were reports that Good News went on floors in November 2018. In fact, Kiara also shared pictures from the sets.

However, the movie was, reportedly, delayed owing to Akshay-Kareena's busy schedules.

'Good News' deals with surrogacy
Story

Reportedly, Akshay and Kareena's Good News revolves around a married couple, who are trying to have a baby.

The movie deals with the sensitive issue of surrogacy.

Good News isn't the only movie in Bollywood to explore this topic. Earlier, movies like Sushmita Sen's Filhaal and Salman Khan's Chori Chori Chupke Chupke also dealt with this topic.
