(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarian Lasantha Alagiyawanna was appointed as the chairman of the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) today.
The United National Party (UNP) said that it nominated Alagiyawanna to the post.
State Minister Niroshan Perera had nominated Alagiyawanna to the post and he was appointed uncontested. (Colombo Gazette)
