Afghanistan: 6 militants die in airstrikes


(MENAFN) The army declared that six militants, with a Taliban judge among them, have did after Afghan force plane targeted a Taliban hideout in Dawlat Abad district of the northern Faryab province on Monday.

It added: "Mullah Rasoul the Taliban shadow judge for Faryab province was killed along with five armed insurgents after fighting aircraft targeted Taliban hideout in Firoza village of Dawlat Abad district on Monday afternoon."

The army confirmed that three other militants were wounded in the attacks.

Taliban group is yet to make statements on the incident.
