Mumbai Police tries to teach Sonam, Dulquer Salmaan, albeit wrongly

Mumbai Police have often been lauded for their quick-witted tweets giving out civic lessons with references to whatever is trending.
But, today they were in a pickle.
They posted a video of actors Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan and slammed them for absent-mindedly driving a car.
However, both Sonam and Dulquer explained that they were actually "rigged on a truck."

Details
The video shared by the Mumbai Police showed Dulquer on the driver's seat of a moving car, but his hands weren't on the steering wheel.
Instead, he's seen using his mobile phone and in the background, Sonam calls him 'weirdo' jokingly.
Mumbai Police then called out to the duo saying Dulquer is indeed a 'weirdo' for trying out such stunts.
Sonam clarifies, Dulquer lashes out saying 'should have checked facts'
Response
Soon, after the news reached Sonam, she decided to clear the air.
She responded to Mumbai Police's tweet saying they weren't driving but were being rigged by a truck, but she was "glad" they were "concerned."
Dulquer, however, responded a little angrily, saying Mumbai Police should have "checked some facts before tweeting this."
The clip was from their upcoming film The Zoya Factor.
Netizens join the farce, troll both Mumbai Police and Sonam

Meanwhile, Twitterati had a lot to say.
Many seized the opportunity of trolling the troll-master, Mumbai Police, saying they shouldn't have posted incorrect information.
One netizen wrote, "dnt judge book by its cover."
While others found a way to slam Sonam, as they thought her 'regular people' tag a little offensive.
