Palestinian child shot by Israeli forces Fri. dies


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Health Ministry reported on Tuesday the death of a Palestinian child who was wounded by Israeli fire during last Friday's protests on Gaza borders.

During a press statement Dr. Asharf Al-Qudra, spokesman of the Ministry of Health said Ahmad Abu Abbad (age 4) died from the injuries he suffered last Friday east of Khan Younis in the Southern part of Gaza.

Since March 30th, Palestinians have been participating in the March of Return and Breaking the Siege along the Gaza borders to demand their return to their occupied lands and the lifting of the siege.

The clashes have resulted in the death of 226 Palestinians and the injury of more than 20,000 others during the weekly demonstrations since it began in March. (end) wab.aq
