(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 12 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Army has begun drills code-named "Pearl of the West" with live ammunition in cooperation with the French Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense said on Monday.
The army regularly conducts the joint war-games with the French forces to uplift the personnel combat readiness.
Troops will fire live ammunition during the exercises, held at Al-Udaira' shooting range, northwest of Kuwait City.
The Kuwaiti-French maneuvers proceed till November 30. (end) am.rk
