(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine calls on the EU to impose sanctions against organizers of the so-called elections in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions scheduled for November 11.
Representative of Ukraine to the European Union Mykola Tochytskyi wrote this on Twitter on Saturday.
'We are grateful to the EU for a strong stance on non-recognition of the "elections" to be held on November 11 in Russia-occupied part of Donbas. I call on our partners to impose sanctions against all those involved in their organization - from the top to the lowest level,' he wrote.
As reported, pro-Russian militants in Donbas announced the holding of so-called "elections" in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions scheduled for November 11.
