Usain Bolt's agent claims Mariners have offered him a contract

Usain Bolt's agent has claimed that Central Coast Mariners, the A-League club with whom he is under trial, have offered him a professional contract.
Interestingly, the club's coach stated he has no knowledge of a contract being offered to the Olympic medalist.
The coach added that given the forwards he has, he is doubtful whether Bolt will find a place in the first team.
A-League's head wants Bolt to receive no special treatment

A-League's head, Greg O'Rourke, has said that he is aware that Bolt is considering the offer that Central Coast Mariners have made to him.
He also commented that he is aware the offer is far lesser than what Bolt and his team had expected.
O'Rourke believes that Bolt should be given the same treatment as any other footballer on trial.

Bolt had asked for a contract worth $2.1 million, but the club didn't agree. They have offered a deal worth far lesser than this amount. Notably, during his trial, it was being discussed that Football Federation Australia would also be a party to the contract.

He is not sure whether Bolt would find a place in the first team considering the forwards Central Coast Mariners already have.
Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack, who is on loan with the Mariners, Tommy Oar, and Connor Pain are already a part of Mariner's attacking line-up.
