Lebanon hosts Armenian PM to boost relations


(MENAFN) Lebanese President, Michel Aoun, asked for the completion of the treaties, that were set between Lebanon and Armenia, the presidency's website reported.

"Agreements between Lebanon and Armenia are very important, as they aim at boosting ties between the two countries, in a way that would serve their interests,"said Aoun, during his conference with the Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, at the Baabda Palace in Beirut.

Pashinyan emphasized, "My country will maintain its work with UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon), to preserve security and stability in south Lebanon".

He also said that the Armenian defense minister will visit the army of his country, on the Lebanese borders to boost the backing.
