Saudi- Islamic World league signs cooperation agreement with Uffizi World Museum

Florence, Safar 07, 1440, October 16, 2018, SPA -- Makkah-based Muslim World League signed a cooperation agreement with the Uffizi Museum in florence, italy.
The agreement was signed by MWL Secretary-General Dr. Mohammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Isa, while Dr. Eike Schmidt, Director of the museum represented his organization.
The agreement aims at implementing educational and cultural initiatives advocating Islamic civilization, supporting initiatives to develop education and training, promoting intercultural dialogue, and introducing Arab and Islamic culture to Italian public to deepen the bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between the communities of these regions and other societies.
Through these agreements, the two parties seek to organize seminars and training courses, in addition to the importance of the role played by museums in promoting cultural exchange and educational activities.
