Turkey "neutralizes"5 PKK terrorists

(MENAFN) Over 39 people have died after a part of a motorway bridge collapsed in Genoa, Italy.

The Turkish General Staff confirmed that the attacks were aimed at a base in Adakli in the eastern Bingol province, where the terrorists have been plotting an attack.

Turkish authorities usually use the term "neutralized" in announcements to indicate that the terrorists have either handed themselves in, died or have been arrested.

The PKK, which has been battling Turkey for over three decades, has been identified as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU, and killed about 40,000 people.
