S. Africa seeks to promote public involvement in corruption battle


(MENAFN) South Africa's government was announced to have initiated a campaign which promotes the participation of the public in fighting corruption.

The South African government explained its target from campaign to emphasize that tackling business is everybody's business.

In a statement, the government said that the Justice, Crime, Prevention and Security (JCPS) Cluster is focusing on battling corruption in line with its zero-tolerance policy against corruption in the public or private sector.

The statement added "despite this there is a perception from the public that corruption is out of control."
