ADP participates in Arab Human Rights conference in Tunis

TUNIS, 12th August, 2018 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi Police, ADP, concluded its participation, along with a delegation from the Ministry of Interior, in the "Fourth Conference for Human Rights Officials at Arab Ministries of Interior," which was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab Ministers of Interior Council in the Tunisian capital, Tunis.

Brigadier Abdulwahab Al Hosny, Supervisor on the Human Rights Affairs Office, stated that the conference agreed upon a model vision of a specialist human rights administration, in terms of organisational structure and missions, which will be sent to all members for feedback.

The participants of the conference also agreed to form an open membership working team, which will include representatives of the council's member countries and General Secretariat and the Nayef Arab University for Security Sciences, to re-draft relevant projects and approve the recommendations of experts in charge of researching the creation of a website, as well as to publish an Arab magazine that will cover security and human rights issues.
