ICT ministers of S. Korea, China, Japan hold a meeting in Tokyo


(MENAFN) Information and communication technology (ICT) ministers of South Korea, China and Japan have gathered in Tokyo to discuss ways to cooperate in the ICT sector.

The first meeting in seven years has brought together ICT Minister Yoo Young-min and his counterparts Miao Wei, China's Minister of Industry and Information Technology, and Seiko Noda, Tokyo's Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications.

The ministers signed a memorandum of understanding to better cope with the fourth industrial revolution that is radically shifting the economic landscape and changing the nature of jobs across the world.

The three nations have discussed ways to work together for the early commercialization of a high-end fifth-generation network
