Pakistan- Mardan gets another sports complex


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) MARDAN: Minister for Education Muhammad Atif Khan on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed sports complex in Mardan.

Constructed by Mardan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education at a cost of Rs370 million, the Sports Complex is spread over 200 kanals area.

MNA Ali Muhammad Khan, MPAs Iftikhar Mashwani, Tufail Anjum and others were also present on the occasion.

The sports complex is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and have separate grounds for cricket, volley ball, football and separate areas of table tennis, basketball.

Addressing participants of a ceremony, the minister stressed on promoting sports and said that PTI-led KP government has done in this regard.

The minister also inaugurated Benazir Children Hospital. PTI Chairman Imran Khan was supposed to inaugurate the complex and the hospital but he cancelled his visit due to technical fault in helicopter.
