(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- H E Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed bin Nassir al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, on Wednesday held an emergency meeting of the Central Crisis Management Committee. The meeting was held in the presence of H E Saud bin Salim al Balushi, Undersecretary for Planning and Human Resources Development in the Ministry of Education.
The meeting reviewed the efforts of concerned authorities in the ministry in dealing with the situation arising out of tropical cyclone particularly in schools. Alternatives regarding test schedule for students of classes 5-11 as well as the General Education Diploma were also discussed. Announcement will be made as the tropical situation develops.
In this regard, H E Dr Madeeha stressed on the importance of taking a decision benefiting the students. She added that all updates will be posted on the ministry's website and social networking pages.
