Kipchoge aims to defend marathon title at Tokyo 2020 games


(MENAFN) London marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge emphasized that during the Tokyo 2020 games, he plans to preserve his Olympic crown.

The Kenyan athlete revealed his objective to reach the feat ahead of his retirement, celebrating his description of the greatest marathon as he claimed victory eight times in London last Sunday.

Speaking to reporters, the iconic runner said "my aim is to continue through until the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo where I will defend my marathon title. Tokyo 2020 is definitely not in the back of mind. It is in the front of my mind."
