Christian family stabbed to death in Iraq
(MENAFN) On Friday, a Christian doctor's wife and mother were all stabbed to death by a group of unknown men in Mashtal neighborhood in eastern Baghdad, said a report.
The three victims Dr. Hisham Shafiq al-Maskuni, his wife Shaza Malik, and his mother Khairiya Dawood overnight on Friday were attacked by a group of men whose identity still remain unknown, according to Iraqi media outlets, Bas News reported.
After the collapse of the former Baath regime in 2003, violations have reached an alarming level in most cities in the country, as a result, most Christian people moved to the Kurdistan Region to find peace.
