Qatar- Celia infant formula product withdrawn

The Ministry of Public Health announced that it has received notifications from several international bodies to withdraw one of the Celia infant formula for possible contamination with Salmonella bacteria.

The Ministry announced that it took immediate necessary measures, in cooperation with other concerned parties, to ensure that the local market is free from these product.

The Ministry reported that the suspect varieties of the product with operating numbers on the specified dates do not exist in Qatar and were not imported, noting that it has prevented the sale and ordered the withdrawal of all the company's infant formula products as a precautionary measure and sent samples to the laboratories. The Ministry called upon citizens and residents not to consume these products.
