Boursa Kuwait bonds with MEIRA to aid traders


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 25 (KUNA) -- Boursa Kuwait has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) for cooperation to ensure investors' optimal practices in regional markets.

The Kuwaiti bourse, in a statement released on Saturday, indicated that it would be responsible, according to the MoU, for boosting performance of MEIRA's branch in Kuwait for launching various activities and training courses for entrepreneurs.

Khaled Al-Khaled, Boursa Kuwait Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), was quoted by the statement as indicating at necessity to revamp the market and exert intensive efforts for viable interaction with traders.

Noting that the bourse, as a matter of policy, seeks to develop connections with investors, individuals and institutions, for enhancing interaction among enlisted companies, according to governance rules.

As part of this approach, the non-profit association will organize training courses and workshops related to entrepreneurs' relations -- first is due on April 29-30 in Kuwait. (end) mke.rk
