S. Korea's Asiana Airlines to sell non-core assets at USD 351.1mn


(MENAFN) Asiana Airlines, S. Korea's second-largest flag carrier proclaimed to sell non-core assets value at almost USD 351.1mn to enhance financial health.

Additionaly, the firm decided to sell off its 100 percent share in Kumho Terminal and 50 percent share in a hotel and office operator in Vietnam.

The firm exposed a set of restructuring measures involving selling assets, closing unprofitable routes and consolidating offices and branches.

Moreover, the asset sale will help it secure money to better brace for any possible challenge in the capital market.
