(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Oul june 05 (qna) - south korean exports of ships and steel which had weakened in the past two to three years due to a deterioration in the global economy has taken an upturn.
south korea's ministry of trade industry and energy said thursday that ship exports were 3.57 billion dollars in may up 30% from last year according to korea's (kbs world) website.
steel exports rose 9.6% to 3.11 billion dollars last month. during the first five months of the year steel exports grew 7.1% from a year ago to 14.61 billion dollars. (qna)
