Qatar Chamber Takes Part In Arab-French Chamber Meetings

Doha: Qatar Chamber (QC) Chairman, sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, led the Chamber's delegation at the recent Board of Directors meeting and executive office meeting of the Arab-French Chamber of Commerce, held in the French capital, Paris.
The Chamber's delegation also included Dr Khalid bin Klefeekh Al Hajri, a QC board member.
The agenda of the Board of Directors meeting included ratifying the minutes of the previous meeting, approving the estimated budget for 2025, reviewing the Chamber's recent meetings, and discussing the 5th France-Arab Countries Economic Summit, scheduled to begin tomorrow on Thursday, December 12.
Meanwhile, the agenda of the executive office meeting included ratifying the minutes of its previous meeting, reviewing the schedule of the Chamber's body meetings, and addressing a number of other topics.
In a statement, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim praised the growing economic and commercial relations between Arab countries and France, emphasising the importance of such meetings among member chambers to further strengthen these ties.
He also highlighted the distinguished relations between Qatar and France, noting that their trade exchange reached QR9.2bn last year, and described France as an important trade partner for Qatar.
Sheikh Khalifa reaffirmed Qatar Chamber's commitment to enhancing cooperation between the business sectors of both countries, pointing out that Qatari investors are keen to explore opportunities available in France across various sectors.
He further emphasised the Chamber's encouragement for French companies to expand their investments in Qatar.
