Azerbaijani MFA Extends Condolences To Spain On Fatalities Caused By Flooding


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 30. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has expressed condolences to the Spanish side in connection with the loss of human lives as a result of flooding, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan wrote on X, Trend reports.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of life and huge destruction caused by floods in the Spanish region of Valencia. We express our deep condolences to the families of the victims and the Government of Spain in connection with this natural disaster,” the publication reads.

To note, extensive regions of southeastern Spain were inundated due to intense rainfall. Rivers overflowed their banks. Roadways, residences, and civic structures inundated. Railroad operations were interrupted. A high-velocity train has derailed. Simultaneously, a "red" rating of risk has been announced in the province of Valencia.
